Everything posted on this site falls into three categories:
- General Musings
- Mental Decluttering
- Physical Decluttering
General musings don’t explicitly fall into categories #2 or #3.
Mental decluttering describes anything created to help you feel less anxious, stressed and unhappy.
Physical decluttering describes anything created to help you simplify your actual physical environment.

All of us–including me–could use a little (or a lot) of help with both. I’m not an expert on the topic; nor do I claim to be.
But there’s one thing I do that most people don’t: I actively try to improve. Like, daily. I’m interested in anything that will (figuratively and literally) declutter my life.
More specifically: my surroundings, my physical home, my mind, my thoughts. Less clutter leaves more room for joy, fulfillment and positivity.
My efforts are chronicled on the site. Hopefully they’ll be a catalyst for you to make even a small improvement. Or better: save you wasted time and energy on methods that don’t really help.
At its most fundamental level, what can this site do for you?
- Simplify the (ironic) complexities of minimalism into actionable information
- Break down both the “why” and “how” of figurative (mental) and literal (physical) decluttering
- Fast-track your journey into a life with less stress, anxiety and unhappiness
- Walk you through obstacles preventing you from finally letting go of unnecessary physical possessions
- Serve as a resource for embracing minimalism, essentialism and enjoying a fulfilled life
